Kinross Road, Invermay
JE Cameron also named Kinross Road to mark his Scottish family background. Kinross is an ancient town in Kinrosshire near the west side of Loch Leven.
Close by, between the town and the Loch, is “Kinross House” built by Sir William the Bruce of Kinross, who was the architect of the regal Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
Rosslyn Road, Invermay
Rosslyn Road was another name selected by Cameron on the basis of his Scottish background.
Rosslyn is a village near Edinburgh, made famous in Scott’s Lay of the Last Minstrel.
